insane that this album is so influential, now when artists branch out and try to do some artistic shit it's referred to as that artists "Igor". fantastic album.

Happy Pride Month! I listened to this album every day for the whole month of June for Pride Month in 2022 and gained a deeper appreciation of it. Good times.

I used to be a big Tyler fan in 2021-2023. Almost every day I listened to something from either IGOR or Flower Boy. I loved them to the point I was able to defend them like swiftie or BTS stan xd. But as time went on, I started listening to different genres of music. I experienced many different genres, artists and albums. This led to come back and see how did it age... and it went okay. On one hand, I feel like IGOR is a fascinating album with many different ideas and experimentations you don't see very often in modern mainstream music. It's combination of variety of genres that work so well it is genually impressive. And the lyricism is top-notch with all the story and world building he made for it. On the other hand, I feel like the instrumentation at many different moments is lacklustre (e.g. PUPPET and I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE). It also doesn't bring the same amount of trance it used. Back then, when I turned the first track on, I felt like I was transported into a different worl-

-d and could connect with this album like never before. Now, it doesn't hit me as much. I turn it on and nothing happens. Last thing about this album is that it doesn't bring me as much enjoyment as it used to. For example, If I were to play "Favourite Worst Nightmare" by AM, I would still feel the same amount of enjoyment as I did when I first discovered it. Now, when it comes to IGOR, I don't feel the same amount of enjoyment except for 4/5 tracks. Overall, Do I feel like this is a bad album? No. Do I feel like it's ageing poorly for me? Yes. I still love Flower Boy though.

I totally agree with some of the more lackluster tracks not hitting like they used to. maybe it just isn't relevant to me anymore, or the charm wore off, not sure, but I do feel where you're coming from. I still enjoy coming back to it every so often, but I love it less than used to. some tracks have aged very well for me personally, I still love earfquake , I think, Igor's theme, new magic wand, a boy is a gun, and boyfriend (wish it was on streaming, probably the most fascinating track on the album). interesting.
