When I was younger, having never listened to them, I thought these guys were a side project of Queen

Do you need any more evidence that Geoff Tate is one of the greatest singers of our time? What a performance!

Amazing production just out of the box, and the music quality itself is on par, much better than The Verdict.

I think Todd La Torre is a great singer and a great fit in Queensÿche. The last two albums in particular were really good. But the more he opens his mouth and I read what's coming out of it, the more I dislike him. He's coming off like he's the new leader of the band or something, like it's the Toddrÿche rather than Queensrÿche. Egomaniac?

Condition Hüman. I loved it at first listen and I think it's one of their best overall. I thought The Verdict was alright upon its release but it's grown a lot on me since.

maybe Todd should shack up with Geoff and create a power duo tag "Wine & Bike Dads Anonymous"

He's a great Tate imitator. Sings great live, but the new songs pale in comparison to the classics live. He'll never write anything akin to the greatness of "Operation: Mindcrime". The past two albums are just a little above mediocre instead of terrible, imo.

Кстати, их мтв-шный Unplugged самый лучший Unplugged из всех видимых и слышимых мной. В то время, и в тот конкретный момент они были Богами музыки.

God, the lyrics on "Operation: Mindcrime" are so painfully horrible. Some of the worst ever. The skits are also horrid. What a waste of an album. It's metal for yuppies.

Lyrics are extremely important to me. I will take awesome sword and sorcery lyrics over a Middle School understanding of politics and economics being shoe horned into my music any day!

Operation Mindcrime Puts me in the protagonist's shoes. I can understand his motives, and feel his emotions. The album is one of my favorites for this reason. The album is written from the protagonists perspective. That being said his understanding of politics may be at a middle school level, but nobody with a higher understanding would slave for a secret order. It's all perfectly in character. (Not only that but I can list off grown adults who would substitute the protagonist perfectly in that regard.) The lyrics themselves, are well written, and understandable in the context of the narrative. That's more than I can say for 90% of all album lyrics I've come across. (99.999999999999999% of power metal)

For all fans of the old decade, please give "SWEET OBLIVION FEAT. GEOFF TATE" a try. This album is absolutely stunning! Sweet Oblivion is a collaboration of Italian Simone Mularoni (g), mastermind of DGM, and former and iconic Queensrÿche frontman Geoff Tate. The result is somewhere between legendary Queensrÿche albums “Rage For Order“ (1986) and “Empire“ (1990) which could easily bring tears of joy to fans of the legendary band mentioned. A powerful production and probably the best vocal performance of the American in twenty years completes the picture.

Why is there nothing in the albums list for the Self titled album? I play it and it scrobbles it as the self titled EP.

"The Verdict" is a decent album but nothing spectacular. I liked "Condition Hüman" more at first listen. Still, both albums are the best material they've done since "Operation: Mindcrime" imo.

Its actually hard to have a clear verdict on...The Verdict. Condition Human really let La Torre loose, i can't tell if its now a step forward or back. La Torre sounds a lot more like Tate now, so if you were a fan of Empire, see them live!

Don't you hate it when you want Queensrÿche albums but only can find Queen albums? I sure do.
