Limbus 3 was a German krautrock trio founded in 1968. They released one album in 1969 titled "New Atlantis" (subtitled "Cosmic Music Experience") which consist of four tracks of improvised avat-garde instrumental music. Limbus 3 used guitars, violins, cello, flute, percussion and a wide range of effects obtained by different electronic gadgets, distorted electric elements and collage techniques. In 1970 they added a fourth memeber and renamed themselves Limbus 4.
