Samy Guediche is originally from Switzerland, coming from a guitarist/song writer background, enhanced by jazz studies and electronic music production… Later, he moved to Santa Cruz, close to San francisco, California, and seven years ago,started a recording studio with Nicolas Oesch, one of the founders of Biodegradable years after, and produced various local solo artists and bands, as well as his individual projects.
In 1999, he met Max Peterson and Laurent Delhom, and together with Nicolas Oesch, started Biodegradable… The project quickly became popular at a local level, leading to some encouraging international releases… Samy Guediche, the driving force of the project, became also a dj with special relationship to sounds under the name of Dr Sam, leading the collective to the Biodegradable debut album "Phaser"… The take off on a more global level, which propulsed Samy into the trance continental circus…
He then started his solo project Central Processing Unit (CPU), a very personal sound, on the dark cutting edge of the experience… The new project received an immediate and strong response from the dance floor, the core of the party that happens in the darkness of the night, where Samy concentrates his efforts to extract the pure essence of the experience…
